NEWS

It's been a few weeks, but I have a few updates.
First, our fellow crafter Ms. Kitty Fantastico (www.mskittyfantastico.etsy.com), who is part of the Etsy street team, will be featured on a craft segment on TV! That's right, mark your calendars for March 21st and tune in to Better Connecticut on channel 3 WFSB between 10 and 11 am. She will be joined by Audrey of KaBoogie Shoes who will be doing a demonstration on how she makes her baby shoes.

Next, I have another date for you to mark down! On Saturday March 29th LadyBlue Entertainment is bringing you the first SWAN DAY CT at the Backstage Pass (New London, CT) at 8:00 pm. In case you didn't know SWAN stands for Support Women Artists Now and it will be an annual & international event taking place on the last Saturday of Women's History Month,  March. SWAN DAY CT will feature women artists from the area which will include rock bands, ska bands, live painting, a comedian, jewelry, and much more! I myself will be in attendance with my work so come out and support some talented women!

I took a few weeks off as February was a busy month, but I have oodles of new work to put up for the month of March! Plus I will be working on putting together another craft show for this spring/summer. Details to follow in the next month or so. :)

Conclusion

I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in or came out to support the DIY Craft Show this past Saturday! I was delighted with all who came out and the responses I got.

It was my first attempt at putting together a show, and I thought it went pretty well for it being my first time.  I admit it was a bit chaotic in the beginning because all the crafters arrived at the same time and I had to get them situated. And we probably could have used a bit more room. But everyone was so kind, except for one cranky pants, but I guess there's always one of those. I really busted my butt preparing for the show, and this one woman showed no appreciation whatsoever, only complaints.

Anyways, I appreciate everyone coming out and supporting the DIY community, the next one is sure to be bigger and better!!
